Vivienne Allain, D.D.S.
Dr. Vivienne Allain is a highly skilled periodontist specializing in cosmetic periodontology and tissue aesthetics. In addition, she is a specialist in the placement of dental implants. A native of Canada, Dr Allain attended the University of Toronto for her degree in Dentistry and obtained her D.D.S. in 1989.
Dr. Vivienne Allain is a board certified Periodontist with 17 years of private practice and teaching experience. She obtained her Periodontal specialty certificate at the Eastman Dental Center, Rochester N.Y. in 1993, becoming a board certified Diplomate in 2001.
She later attended The University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center where she did a one year program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She then completed a three year program in the specialty of periodontology.
A well-traveled professional, Dr. Allain has held private practices in Toronto, Canada and in Basel, Switzerland where she also worked as an assistant Professor and the head of the Periodontology Department for the University of Basel. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Osseointegration and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
